Please note: in order to bid, you MUST register your name, cell phone number and a valid credit card number with our silent auction bidding partner, Accelevents.

Initial bids can be made from your computer OR just place your initial bid via text message (i.e. "ABC300")


Bidding from your Computer

  1. Click on the lot you would like to bid on and you will be taken directly to our Accelevents bidding page.
  2. You will see the current bid up top.
  3. In order to bid, you MUST enter your name, cell phone and a valid credit card. You will only have to do this once and your information is stored for all items in this auction.
  4. Enter your bid (increments of $10, only). If your bid is confirmed (see note below), you will be alerted via text message.  If you are outbid you will also be alerted via text message. 
  5. If you win, you will be asked to confirm your payment via text message when the Silent Auction is over on Saturday, March 18th at 4pm PST.  Please be sure to check your cell phone at this time. You will have one hour to complete your transaction. If you do not complete your transaction, we will move on to the next highest bidder.

NOTE: Your bid is NOT confirmed until your name, cell phone and credit card have been accepted and you have a received a text message confirming your bid. During this time you may be outbid.   If you receive an error message, please try again.


Bidding from your Cell Phone

  1. Text your bid to: (480) 462-7150 with the item’s three letter ID and bid amount. For example texting "ABC300" will place a bid of $300 on the item with the ID of ABC.
  2. If your bid is below the current bid you will receive a text that will suggest a higher bid (increments of $10, only).
  3. If your bid is accepted (see note below), you will be alerted via text message.
  4. If you are a first time bidder you will be given a link to a Accelevents account sign-up page where you will need to enter your name, cell phone and credit card information. If you do not enter this information your bid is not confirmed! You will only have to do this once and your information is stored for all items in this auction.
  5. If you have a confirmed bid and subsequently outbid you will be alerted via text message. 
  6. For an item’s current bid, text the Bid ID. For example text "ABC" and you will receive the current bid amount.
  7. If you win, you will be asked to confirm your payment via text message when the Silent Auction is over on Saturday, March 18 at 4pm PST.  Please be sure to check your cell phone at this time. You will have one hour to complete your transaction. If you do not complete your transaction, we will move on to the next highest bidder.

Pigs & Pinot Inspired Chef Knives by Feder Knives

To commemorate Charlie Palmer’s 12th annual Pigs & Pinot event, Sculptor and knifemaker Geoff Feder is collaborating with Palmer to develop 12 custom-crafted, limited edition chef’s knives. In true Pigs & Pinot fashion, each knife's handle will be made from repurposed, stabilized Kosta Browne wine barrels.

Each knife will be numbered sequentially starting with the number “1” and the final knife of the series with the number “12.” All 12 knives will be available during our Pigs & Pinot Silent Auction with a portion of proceeds going back to Pigs & Pinot charities.

12 lucky bidders will receive a limited edition Pigs & Pinot inspired chef's Knife designed by Charlie Palmer and handmade by Geoff Feder of 'Feder Knives.' The knives are currently in the design phase and will be made-to-order upon completion of the auction. Part of the experience is seeing how the blades come together as Geoff provides step-by-step emails with photos explaining the process as each of the blades elements' comes together.
